Winner 2018 WeddingWire Couple’s Choice Award

 Last night, amidst the spam emails, bill reminder emails and what’s new on Netflix emails was a small unassuming gift email. As with all emails, even emails from groups to which we belong, this one smelled slightly of spam and I passed it by ever so briefly. As my eyes scanned past onto “Amazing International Brides to date,” and “Amazing Military Grade Flashlights I Need to Buy before the Government Finds Out,” I paused for a moment and looked again.

 There it was. An award! It’s not often that you receive an award for something you love doing but I have. I love my couples. The wild and crazy ones. The staid and serious ones. The ones who are spiritually adventurous and the traditional ones. The large and the small ones, the anxious, nervous, “I’m not gonna cry” to the “Let’s do this thing,” ones. The simple and sweet to the extravagant ones. I loved all of my 2017 weddings!

 Most of all of I have loved officiating for and marrying my beautiful, wonderful and inspiring 2017 couples. You have all been amazing and so from the bottom of my heart: Thank You! To win this award you are considered to be in the top 5% of wedding officiants, and that may be true, but my couples are truly in the top 1%!

 So here is to 2018 may this year be just as love-filled as 2017!

And 2018 Couples, here we go!
